Allen won a Class 3A Individual state wrestling championship over the weekend

Sounds like we are still in the favorites position with Brian. Hopefully the kid pulls the trigger soon and becomes the core6 ring leader.

One question Dan: does Brian have a tight relationship with any other offensive staff member? Warner, Salem or even Coach D'? I know he and his family really liked Coach Roushar so.....just curious.

Odd, I didn't see a single negative in losing Roushar. Looks like one finally presented itself. I would take this as an opportunity for Staten, who happens to be our best or second best recruiter, to step in as his position coach and solidify the relationship.

duh....I left out the possibility of Staten stepping in here. Yeah Skip, I did think of Brian Allen when this went down as the Allen family and Roushar have a tight relationship BUT it isnt like the man was fired: he took an NFL gig. SO.......hopefully Staten or Salem can step in and solidify the situation.

How would you rank our coaches as far as recruiting goes? I've always been curious who we have on our staff currently that is considered really good. I believe that Enos was really good back in the day.

I think Staten has emerged as 1b to Narduzzi's 1a. Beyond that I think we know Warner helped out quite a bit with the Erie boys last year and Salem is regarded as pretty good but those first two are hard to beat. I don't think there's enough body of work to fairly judge T-Sams yet. We'll see if Ron Burton gets Detroit and how he does. Tressell is probably somewhere 3rd or 4th best behind Narduzzi and Staten. That about right boys?
