Michigan State and Iowa were Kilgore's final two.
"I just got off the phone with Coach D and told him I'm ready to be a Spartan," Kilgore said. “He was real excited when I told him."
The 6-foot-2, 183-pound Class of 2013 prospect also had offers from Iowa, Kentucky, Boston College, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Illinois and Minnesota.
“Michigan State and Iowa, those were my top two,” Kilgore said. “I loved everything about my visit to Michigan State when I went up there.
