He definitely regrets decommiting from Michigan. This is the downside of the Michigan coaches no visit policy. He didn't do his due diligence in the first place and now they won't let him back into the fold even though he doesn't want to leave the area anymore.

Story a few weeks ago said the Florida staff informed Michigan that Dawson was trying to visit there behind their back. Im sure everyone know's the Hoke Policy, whether you like it or not. Apparently there were a ton of problems aside from that, so the staff parted ways completely. Last week he connected with a few of our commits, and asked them to communicate with the staff about possibly letting him back into the fold. Obviously, they completely parted ways, so it's not happening. The poster above, wasn't making up a story, I think he regretted it somewhat. I definitely think MSU, OSU, and Alabama are damn good options. Definitely a big loss for Michigan, never want to give up talent to your rivals.

They really just make it up as they go along in Ann Arbor. He's a 17 year old kid, but that doesn't stop the Michigan culture from throwing him under the bus. The kid decided he wanted to check out other schools, so he scheduled other visits knowing full well this meant he was decommitting. Michigan fans can't handle that so they've been making up stories about it ever since.
Pretty pathetic.
