Peko has family ties to Michigan State.

The Class of 2013 is not exactly loaded with guys from the trenches thus far. Who is MSU focusing on to correct that and where do guys like Ruben Dunbar (left) fit in?

Not sure when Kyle will be able to visit. JUCO teams play their games on so many different days (Thurs., Fri., Sat. even sometimes on Sun.) that it will depend on his team's schedule.
He will visit MSI but it may be after his JUCO season ends.
I like both Cooper (WDE) and Dunbar (SDE). It would be great if MSU could take both. Don't know how the scholarship #'s will work out.

MSU feels like they have good depth on the interior OL with Jack Allen, Donovan Clark, Blake Treadwell, Nate Klatt, Connor Kruse, Benny McGowan, Zach Higgins, Travis Jackson and Kyle Lints all returning in 2013. They will look to add 2 OG/OC in 2014.
Note : MSU would have taken 2013 OG Patrick Kugler but he committed to um.

It is what it is. There are some young guys like Skyler Burkland, Michael Dennis, Kodi Kieler, Jack Conklin, and Shawn Kamm along with Dan France and Hank Conway who will both be Seniors in 2013.
Most of the top 2013 OT's MSU was recruiting committed to other teams early in the process and were basically off MSU's recruiting board quickly.
MSU will look to add at least 2 OT's in 2014.

Taking 1 in '13 and 2 in '14 would have State with 5 OTs in 3 years. That's not too bad. Have to get 2 in '14 though.

Yes, Dunbar has the frame to grow into a 3-technique DT at the next level. He is up to about 255 lbs. now from about 235 lbs. going into last year as a HS Jr.
I would be very pleased if MSU were able to sign that threesome !

Initially, they wanted 2 in '13. The early commits took that away, along with the Riley Norman thing. I don't feel great about our situation at OT long term. We have a ton of depth in the interior, and it feels like the tackle position is a little bit gooey.

Yes, it's virtually a must for MSU to get 2 OT's in '14 + 2 OG's.
If MSU gets the DL they want in 2013, then they can make the OL their priority for big men in '14
