It is fine to do due dilgence but he needs to be reminded that there are other offers out there and a lot of kids want to commit before there senior season starts. Not a whole lot of scholarships left at this point and if we pick up a couple lineman then things could get real tight in a hurry.

Sort of. We're definitely taking a safety (Williams is a SS/defensive athlete). No impact on lineman recruiting. There are also a couple DB/athlete guys we would take IN ADDITION to Williams. The delay is not a huge deal really.

He said he will have a better feeling on when he'll visit Michigan State following Ohio State's camp Friday. Williams was very stern in saying he would commit to Michigan State the next time he visited EL.
Williams also added he just wants to visit a few other schools to make sure he knows in his heart that Michigan State is the right place for him.
Prospects aren't allowed to take official visits until after September 1st so an official for the Boise State game won't happen.

I'm free Friday, anyone want to road trip down to Columbus, kidnap him, drive him to EL, and tell him he better commit because he promised he would next time he was in town?

BTW - I really, really hope he commits. That will allow our staff to focus on closing out this class with OL (3: 2-OT and 1-OG) and DL (1-DE and 1-DT?) the rest of the way.

I just watched his film for the first time. The kid is definitely electric with the football in his hands. He would fit in well with the offensive scemes.
