Absolutely. I expect Narduzzi to start getting some great commitments from the east coast now. Particularly Maryland and New Jersey, which he has been recruiting for awhile anyway and where he has some ties.

Playing them out east every other year as a divisional foe or protected rival would maximize that potential benefit. As opposed to only playing each one out east once every eight years or whatever it would work out to be against a regular non-divisional foe.

TPAIN, you are correct. I am a Michigan native and MSU grad who lives less than 1mile from St. Peters Prep. The school is a great school with a good football program. There are many others in this state including Don Bosco and Bergen Catholic that are among the best programs in the United States! Kitteridge went to Bosco!
In the past, Jersey kids went all over the country or played at Rutgers. It is great to see that MSU recruiting focusing on Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland. They are all rich recruiting grounds that because of recent developments make MSU an attractive option.
