Riley Bullough also played some SS in high school IIRC but will most likely have grown into the OLB spot.

Wow, Norman is 240?! This blows my mind. I remember when we used to beg for a Mike linebacker that was over 240 and not slow as molasses like Caleb Thornhill. Now we have a Star linebacker who weighs that much and can play out on a slot receiver?! If that doesn't highlight just how far weve come from a talent perspective I don't know what does.

The staff believes in recruiting football players. By that I mean athletic kids who can project at multiple positions. That way, a kid doesn't come in pigeon holed into one position. By doing this, if there is a lot of depth in one area, they can move the kid someplace else where he can contribute. I think this is one of the secret ingredients behind the overall lack of attrition and the outstanding depth we now have as a team.
