You've got to love that they double-teamed and talked smack to...our 4th WR. That said, good scouting by BSU, recognizing he was the leading returning WR from purely a #s standpoint, poor scouting by not charting his progress at MSU. Maybe they should have doubled Sims....

I would be stoked if Dallas drafted gholston, should he decide to go pro..:)

He seems confident it will be resolved but it's a very cloudy issue right now. I'm still working to gather more info but there was even talk of a possible lawsuit filed against the CPL. Making more calls on that this week and I'll fill everyone in as soon as I get the latest.

So if it comes down to a judge, it will be purely the judges call. How do you prove that a school transition is entirely or even mostly for sports reasons? Do you get witnesses? Emails? Just a tough rule to manage IMO.

What is the rule in Illinois? In PA they say the transfer is not allowed if there is any athletic intent. The rule is applied very unevenly. The PIAA just overturned a few WPIAL decisions to deny the transfer. They have denied the transfer because the family moved to be closer to a parent's job because they made the mistake of admitting the talked to the football coach before they moved. On the other hand they let a kid from Texas play who was living with his aunt for the season. The petty bureaucrats making making these decisions seem to be on a power trip some times. Would not be surprised to see that in Illinois.
