18 years ago I bought my first tractor...

... and today I bought my first sawsall. After both purchases, I had the feeling of "how the hell did I get by before without this".

Right, and I'm dead serious. I had some work to do today (replacing a bath ceiling fan that was perma-installed by the original home owner/builders), and there was no saw that would fit between the joists and hodge podge framing they installed the original fan with. Sawsall was used all over the place cutting out the framing and even the drywall patchwork that I had to throw together. Faster than I could imagine.

Just make sure you know where the plumbing/electrical runs are--works real nice on copper, too

Felt the same way after I bought a nail gun. I can barely hit a nailhead with my hammer. Always freaking miss and send the nail flying off.
