2012 NBA Draft Lottery

The Draft Lottery is tonight at 8 pm on ESPN. The Pistons are in line to receive the 9th overall pick, and they have a 6.1% chance of hitting something in the Top 3.
I've always liked the Draft Lottery. It adds some intrigue and lets teams know that intentionally tanking won't guarantee the top overall pick. For example, Charlotte was atrocious this year and there's still a 33% chance they don't get a top 3 pick.

Like this fact, besides Tim Duncan, the Spurs have no players on their roster drafted higher than 15th overall.

Pistons couldn't just lose a few more games. We've been stuck in the same spot for the last couple years, which is the worst spot to be in imo. Clearly not a contender, but at the same time we aren't getting high enough picks to rebuild. With that said we got a steal in Brandon Knight last year and Monroe has turned out to be pretty good too.

I know Davis is supposed to be a sure shot guarantee but I really hope the Wizards get the #2 and get Kidd-Gilchrist. Please, please don't end up in a position that they have to draft Harrison Barnes or Drummond; I don't feel good about those 2 at all.

Just a few months ago, David Stern wouldn't let Chris Paul get traded to the Los Angeles Lakers because they were a "big market team"...so, he then traded Paul to the Los Angeles Clippers, who obviously play in the same big market.
The NBA is one step above pro wrestling.

Didn't mean that. I meant that we've been stuck in that position where you will get a good player, but not a great player the past few years. Basically I mean we probably won't get a Durant or Rose type of player in the draft.
