Drummond was a fantastic pick for Detroit. The worst case scenario is that they drafted a good defensive and rebounding center. The kid is extremely young, and his offense will come. He is the perfect complement to Greg Monroe down low. The Pistons made some strides tonight...probably not a playoff team next year, but they have a very good nucleus now with Knight/Stuckey/Monroe/Drummond.

i thought monroe was a good pick. if nothing else i guess it allows monroe to be a dominant 4 but i don't see drummond being as good as some of the players still left up there. we could have used a 2 or 3 more than a center in my opinion because monroe was serviceable for now and we could have gotten a center with marginally less talent in the second round. i guess time will tell though
