Yeah, I don't remember if he camped at State, but that was the knock on him. By the fall/winter he had a bunch of offers including Alabama and Florida. Unless Big Will didn't want to play with him, we whiffed big time on that one.

my favorite part of that is it supposes that the NFC playoff teams will be Green Bay, Philly, Chicago, San Fran, New Orleans, and Atlanta - really going out on a limb there
i'll say right now no way Chicago makes the playoffs, and i'll be SHOCKED if NO does.

BTW, this prediction made the Detroit News yesterday with the character issues prominently featured.

SI writer predicts Michigan State DE William Gholston will be first-round pick | The Detroit News | detroitnews.com

Andrew Perloff, looking ahead to the 2013 draft, projects Gholston as the 22nd overall pick, writing: 'Teams may have character concerns about Gholston, but they won't doubt his athleticism.'

I know most will say ignore it, but this is where a coach can step in and change this ridiculousness. Gholston is a very nice kid with a single lapse in a game, not a monster. The bitches at uofm blew it out of proportion and this can now effect his future. If one person mentions it dantonio should make a point to shut them down and make a fool of them. It would be nice for gholstons bright points to be highlighted as opposed to made up bullshit. Unfair for the kid to be hung out to dry by a bunch of pussy adults.
