Saw a bunch of the Sea Shepherd team on a documentary on the earthquake tonight - they were in Otsuchi documenting the porpoise slaughter and were damn lucky to survive. Ironically - their success this season forcing the Japanese to give up the whale hunt meant the Nisshin Maru was able to help deliver aid supplies to the effected areas.

I don't know 10 1/2 is lot to lay ... worried about the back door cover. I could see another "hostage" or "shooting" incident happening.

I'm surprised this has yet to end poorly. I saw the episode where they were all bent out of shape because the Japanese were throwing steel nuts at their dinghy.

Watched the first episode...I still find it hilarious that the fat guy still turns their non ice rated ship(s) into ice fields and every given opportunity. From the looks of the episode the season should be entertaining to say the least as it looks like their actions put a number of lives at risk.
