The Chevy LS series are the best engines of all time. Compact, lightweight, and can be built to any power specifications needed and be relatively efficient doing it.

I know it's not the old school 350 but, I mean, it's GM and it's 5.7- I don't think they are that much different... Once you get high in the LS series is when they become a whole other monster. Also... VTEC made me laugh... You won't believe how many people would actually agree with you.
Technically a 383 stroker is a stock bore 350 block with a 400 crank... so no boring out needed.
