This is total garbage we are seeing from this team and its coaches, do not be surprised if Leyland starts to lose this clubhouse soon as the players have to be getting more frustrated than even the fans.

No, it's Leyland's fault for yanking a starter who had pitched well except for 2 pitches and putting in a guy with a grand total of 4 major league innings and a 6.75 ERA when there were several better options he had.

It's Leyland's fault he was pitching in the first place. He had no business replacing Smyly with only 69 pitches.

He threw 69 pitches, but some of them weren't very good and they ended up in the outfield seats. The quality of the pitches, more so than quantity, had something to do with being pulled.

It's obvious that whenever Smokey's tenure is up, there are plenty of managerial replacements here who will always post the perfect lineup each game and never err when replacing the starting pitcher. This guy will be so lucky because the second guessing by the fans will become a thing of the past.

Discussing the strategic moves of managers is almost universally recognized as part of baseball's popularity.
Also its not really second guessing when people complain about a move or lineup before the results are known.
