Verlander looks good today. If you add in the fact that the Cubs blow, it is a day game following a long night game and if the wind starts blowing in, he could be in for a perfect game.

No. The last 3 years he has had the second highest OPS on the Tigers after the All Star game. Why would you get rid of him once he reaches the time of year that he starts hitting?

I guess not......you know it's bad when Jim Price says that was a bad swing by Cabrera. Off balance swing at a ball out of the strike zone.
Only two runs and the Tigers have had at least one runner on base in each inning.
JV is probably pulling his hair out.

He did move a runner up on a bunt...next two batters = BB, K, and fly ball....
Can't sent Jackson early when JV is in front of him on bases.
