Maybe just my memory, but I remember that being a big ongoing story for months leading up to the season a few years back. Again, I guess if you are not in Chicago or read MLB stories I can see not knowing that part. I did think that it was common stadium knowledge that the rooftops were private though.

I follow baseball closer than the average person, and had no idea, nor did I care to know about the rooftop seats. I don't see why anyone outside of cubs fans would know or care.

That's due to the 2 concerts they had there last weekend. The stage was in center field. The beat up grass areas you see are from the walk areas they had for the floor seating.

still they are .500 on the road now and 3 under at home
Getting swept by the Mariners and Twins at home was not good

Agree. Knowing this bit of trivia is as important as knowing which ball park (that is not your home team) offers up to 40% savings on the family plan.
