Inge plays too deep at 3rd. Always has. He wants to make it look dramatic, but he's too slow for that now. I'll be pissed if anybody else on this roster is moved for Guillen after the break.

If Inge is on team after all star break it proves that the Tigers do not want to win. He cant hit and his defense has deteriorated. I would rather go with Kelly/worth combo.

It was scored as an error to Inge. Verlander allowed 1 run, 0 earned runs.

It's not that simple. It's the remainder of the 5.5 million that he's owed this year and the 5.5 he's owed for next year.
That said, at this point, they really don't have a choice. He cannot play, and his knees prevent him from his old utility role (which Kelly does better anyway). At this point he really needs to be released, but the money will make that difficult.

if they make the playoffs anything can happen with a healthy verlander. getting there is what worries people
