Ah, here's a good one.
Early camps surprises for the newcomers include a 6'5 TE... who is listed at 201. And a 6'5 DE...who is at 215.

Here's a good link that breaks down each position, this one is QB:
Junior Joe Southwick served as the backup the past two seasons and posted solid numbers last year in relief — 76.7 percent completions and a 136.44 rating. Sophomore Grant Hedrick was effective running the wildcat package with 70 yards on eight carries.

It appears their OL is in much better shape then I thought, and, despite losing their best OL player, could be a real strength:
"Nine of the 14 returners have started at least one game in their careers."
They are expecting their junior LT to be their next big star, he started every game last year.

And it appears that TE may be the strength of the team. A good group of TEs and a solid OL...BSU is looking stronger then I thought they were.

Huff (RsF) is not the blocking TE. BSU typically excels developing receivers and blockers at the TE position. There will be others who will be fulfill the blocking responsibilities including Linehan (RsJr, 6'3", 240).
If Petersen excels at anything it is in producing match-ups that favor the strengths of the players he has.

Not sure which you are speaking of....Gallarda was mentioned in that article but he graduated last year and now he is with the Falcons. Paul is a FB who missed all of last year and is the strongest player on the team. He has been a monster for us.
In general, we have added a ton of TE/FB talent...to the point where I have wondered if we might evolve to a more of a power running game with all the big strong bodies. Nance (Fr, 6-2, 245), Peters (6-4, 245), Plinke (6-4, 230) were all additions.
One of the interesting aspects of the game will be to see how Prince and Petersen game plan the offense to compete with MSU's defense. Petersen is no stranger to dominant defenses. He played TCU multiple times when they had the #1 ranked defense.

Yup, some people still don't follow cfb closely enough to realize when teams from the non BCS conferences are very good (like TCU that year) they are as good as most the upper echelon teams from the power conferences.
