Speaking of grammar, I need to write up a lesson for my students tomorrow. I want to discuss cliches and incorporate real world events at the same time (Keep it relevant!) How are these?
Penn State officials exemplify that "pride comes before the fall."
Joe Paterno is a "tragic hero."
Penn State football has to "climb another mountain."
Then, for specificity's sake, they remove the cliche and insert more original language.
