  • I apologize for the lack of clarity. But that's from poster "steely Dan". Or better known as nucky. AA (who's great at his job btw) thought it was off base to assume that SD was nucky, but that's straight out of nuckys mgoblog handbook.

    I'm not finding that anywhere in the mgohandbook. All I can find is

    1. Discount any losses incurred under RR
    2. If losses occur after RR blame RR for not recruiting well enough and claim that every good player from your opponent would be a wolverine if not for.... You guessed it, RR.
    3. If all players RR recruited are out of the program and we still lose games, proceed to talk about the domination of (fill in opponent here) during the guilded age and or great depression

    Thus is the mind of walverines like steely nucky. RR is the cause of all their losses both during and at least 5 years immediately after his tenure. MSU and other programs that beat UM are wholly incapable of doing so without direct assistance from UM itself (ie hiring RR) or cheating (clock keepers,, crowned fields, attempt of murder, etc.).

    Gholston and Thomas were both desperate to be wolverines but RR told them no. I'm just hoping they wait to transfer there for at least one more year. I'm not confident though.

    A ban on site. Nucky is as easy to spot as it gets on this board. All his usernames will be 2 words (nucky Thompson, steely Dan, John galt, choad licker, etc) and he will be completely incapable of altering or disguising his posting methods because he's simply not smart enough to pull it off. And he'll take shots at Dantonio/Izzo and MSU at every turn. I haven't searched his history but I would assume that 99.9% of his MSU athletics related posts are so polarizingly negative that to confuse him for an MSU fan would be akin to confusing Bo Schembechler for a decent human being.

    I understand that he has somehow, given his limited intellect, managed to figure out proxy ip addresses. That he has hundreds upon hundreds of accounts with gmail, yahoo, aol, hotmail, jdate, netzero,lolcats,the humane society and every other site under the sun that hosts emails for the singular purposes of trolling the site of a school he loathes (that means to hate or despise , nucky). But when he's inevitably identified after a few posts then remove the cancer. This isn't tanfan and his irrational fear of UM, it's a walverine troll.

    Not everyone. Sometimes if I call someone nucky I'm using it as a perjorative. Take spartexaco for example, I don't think he's nucky, just nuckyesque. I'll clarify next time, but for the other times when I or others are making that accusation that a poster is actually nucky, it's gotta be right more often than not. Honestly AA, give an estimate as to how many names he's had on this and the old board. If its not triple digits it's approaching it.

    As I said above, I know there's nothing you can do given his methods skirting the bans. But if it's possible just ditch him ASAP.

    As far as I could tell, on the old board he was simply Nucky Thompson. A no-name poster that no one gave a shit about with maybe 500 posts or so. When we got to the new board, he started posting a lot or rather that he started posting a lot more than he used to. He's maybe had about 30-40 accounts on here that I know of. This board definitely changed the poster hierarchy since so many people changed their names.
