This may include a cloth canopy to provide shade. The Cardinals used to play afternoon games here. It was brutal to sit in the sun for a game. I assume that most games are at night for this reason, but ESPN/ABC rarely pick-up the Saturday evening games. This should help attendance (which is terrible) and TV coverage. But $300 million?

Yes; there are some beautiful girls at ASU. I will probably have at least one son attending there in the next few years. We visited campus after the Blue Man Group concert at Gammage last November. ASU moved up their lists. This would definitely save me some money. Of course, their MSU visit for the UM game last October left them all wide-eyed. There's nothing like a Big-Ten rivalry game and the campus/girls looked great!

Went I went there, kickoff was always at 7, students had tix at the 50 yard line, there was only a chain link fence seperating players from crowd and it was one of the first to have a jumbo screen. Also, since it rarely sold out, you where guaranteed to get on the jumbo screen at some point. And while the cloth idea sounds good for the sun, I have a feeling it is also to keep people from watching for free from A mountain.
