when i got my dog i took him to the vet. he was a mess. he had parasites and flees and you could totally see his ribs. he weighed 20 lbs dripping wet, but he had huge paws. the vet said he was about 6 months old and that he wasn't going to get much over 35 lbs. "some dogs just have big paws". today, he's a lean, mean fighting machine and he tips the scales at 95 lbs after he takes a shit.

That picture reminds me of when we brought our dog home (lab/german shepherd, about 15lbs). He was so little and so hyper he spent all afternoon running around and then just CRASHED on our couch. He wore himself out so hard he just fell asleep stretched completely out on his side with his head on my wife. They're funny.
