  • Much better than I thought it would be. Pretty sure it was going to be a dumpster fire. As someone who graduated from GR in 2000, brought me back.

  • Seems like it's the movie you make when you're just about out of money

  • As a graduate of EGR, I can't stomach watching any of these movies. In many cases, it hits a little too close to home.

I gotta say, though, I'm a huge fan of Gene Levy. Besides curiosity of the whole EGR thing, Levy was the only reason I watched the first and a little of the second one. It's too bad these movies are the only thing that is keeping his career from going under. Levy is actually REALLY funny.

    Do Or Die

  • i've seen them all, even the ones that went straight to dvd. They're all pretty dumb but have some funny moments. This one seems like it fits that mold as well.

  • I don't get the hate for Stiffler in the movies. Yeah, he is an ass, but he's fun. I'd party with the Stiffmeister.

I saw it and liked it. I saw the 1st, 2nd, wedding and reunion. Didn't see the straight to DVD ones.

Don't know really...I guess I hated East Grand Rapids growing up. Bunch of rich kids who were REALLY concerned about how much your folks made and which Ivy League school (or UofM) you were going to. Couldn't wait to get out of there when I was a teenager.

A lot of the places portrayed, I know about and relate to in an "outsider" kind of way. With the exception of "Dog Days" = "Yesterdog," I really don't have fond memories of the place. Gotta admit though that I still love Yesterdog and even to this day I go there whenever I am in East Town in East Grand Rapids.

  • Just want to add.....the girl who Jim babysitted who is now 18...holy hell...

My god, sorry I couldn't grab my phone in time to take pics.", but wow, worth seeing the movie for that

Also, it was pretty cool that they showed pics from when they filmed the first over ten years ago. Always neat to see how people aged, especially when you were the same age when you saw the first

  • This is the first one of the film series not written nor produced by the original writer, Adam Herz. Don't know if you can tell any difference from the other scripts or not.

  • Haven't seen the new one yet, but growing up in Grand Haven and living in one of the cottages behind the Bil Mar, the second one hit home to me. All the rich EGR kids staying in their families cottages in our neighborhood.

Yeah... EGR kids were the worst, though I always admired their overbearing parents and their teachers who really thought they were the high school equivalent to Ivy League professors... and then the police who had absolutely no shame over pulling over anyone who they a) thought wasn't a resident or b) wasn't white.

I always cracked up how (my school included) everyone considered EGR one of their rivals and the EGR kids really only considered themselves rivals with FHC and to a lesser extent Rockford.... because of the vicious LaCross and Rugby throwdowns.

When I was at East, it could have been tiddlywinks with FHC and it would have been a heated battle.
