    Pretty much this. lol

I think my current top three most hated characters are the cops's wife (for obvious reasons), Dale (I just think he's a bad actor, and has really long eyebrows), and Carl (since they wasted half a season having him heal after trying to pet a deer).

I also wouldn't mind if they just killed off all the women. Maybe then they would have less conversations about birth control, feelings, and who is emotionally hurt over something someone said or did.

One out of three isn't bad, but I think I would have preferred Carl to get bit while trying to pet the zombie. lol

  • T-Dog had one line in each of the last three episodes. WTF? Guy must not have any action in his life.

I saw him in the room when they were discussing the execution, I forgot he was still alive.

  • The show still has me entertained. Sorry that it disappoints so many. I dont think its a show about zombie's but moreso, a show that has zombies in it.
It occurs over a longer period of time, and deals with the daily realities of that type of world- its not an easy 2 hour movie where you can skip over that kind of stuff and just keep it action action action.
    So I appreciate the pacing.

That said - Dale's statement about losing humanity is pretty telling.
Sets up for the decent of each character, the choices they are forced to make, and gives an understanding to the choice no matter what side you are on.
    Do we kill the kid.
He's done nothing vs. He presents a threat. (Gitmo).
Interesting scenario to put Carl in as well - and the impact that it might have on his future choices.

I think no matter what people are not going to be happy with the show. If it was all action people would find something to complain about such as not enough creative ways to kill zombies or repetitiveness of it all.

Anyways, the show could use a few less character dramas and a broader set. It's been far too centered on a couple locations (the farm, the road). There definitely needs to be more zombie killing though. I still like the show and it is better than 95% of television right now given that there are no good currently running sci-fi shows atm (which says a LOT about the current state of TV).

  • I think it would be more scary if the plot was credible.

If they victims have to be bitten first, then the zombie disease (whatever it is) could never spread as fast as it does in this show and 28 days later and the sequel. The one where the U.S. has occupited the UK and garrisoned it with U.S. military forces.

The Zombies are basically animals. How could they possibly defeat professional soldiers? Especially an armored division? It is absurd. Now if they disease was airborne it would make sense.

Yes, I know this is a movie or TV series. Still a plausible plot is scarier.

    Zombies can't win!

  • Just getting around to last nights episode. Is it me, or is Daryl the only sensible person on the show? He's written and acted perfectly. Why are so many of the other characters so bad? Still love the show.

The idea of the show is good, the pace of the plot is whats turning me off. They spent a whole half season looking for that little girl. This second half its been all about everyones feelings.

  • A little shocked Daryl didn't execute the prisoner the second he all but came out and said he helped rape a couple of teenage girls.

World War Z is great at explaining how a modern military would be overrun. Old school firing lines taking calculated head shots are more effective than heavy armor going in guns blazing. Zombies don't stop and take cover when you are throwing grenades or rolling around in your Humvee.

yeah, and science does a pretty good job of explaining why if zombies were real how they would die off before most people even realize their is a problem. I love zombie movies for the entertainment value, but there is a reason why most zombie stories always start pretty deep in the infection...or the infection sweeps the nation in some way that is never really explained.

Also, why are the majority of zombies mostly intact in movies and shows, while most human deaths at the hands of the zombies are the result of total body dismemberment? 99.99% of zombies should be severed heads, arms, and half eaten legs with the torso a smooshed mess 20 ft away. Much easier to escape.

  • Later Dale. He managed to get even more annoying than Lori this last episode. I nominate that now dead Zombie the MVP of this season so far. If Dale can come back and take a quick nibble on Lori real quick he might take the MVP though.

When they were having the debate on what to to do with the kid (I'm firmly on team bullet to the back of the head, btw) why didn't they mention the very important fact that him & his friends had already tried to kill them once?

  • Predictions for the next 2 episodes:

Kid gets loose, cuts up Shane's face as seen in the preview
Kid goes back to his gang, gang comes and finds the farm
    All hell breaks lose
Revalation season cliffhanger is leader of gang is Daryl's one armed bro.

  • Weird that people can become zombies just by dying now without having to get bit by another zombie. Is this where the zombie mob that was shown at the end of the episode came from or are these two things unrelated?

Unrelated. It's always been the case that bites aren't needed, they just didn't realize it due to the high correlation.
