Been experiencing some off and on discomfort in the left side of my jaw. Occasionally it affects my left eye and neck. I am now getting popping sounds in my left ear over the last week when I move my jaw.
When I move my jaw around, I can feel and hear a pop in the left side of my jaw. Been to the dentist, he sees no signs of TMJ, been to the ENT, he sees no signs of a problem.
I've been dealing with this off and on for two years, seems to be getting worse. Seem to have a constant sinus issue on the left side as well. Always have tightness on the left side of my jaw.
Trying to figure out what I am dealing with since the dentist and ENT haven't helped.

My wife and I both have it. It gets pretty hilarious when we eat together in a quiet environment, especially when we're eating tough, chewy things. Sounds like the drumline outside Demo Hall.
As annoying as it is, I've never sought to do anything about it. I don't chew gum as much, because that seems to aggravate it.

Glad to hear we are all screwed and have to deal with this.
What sucks is I have to talk for a living, and there are days where it affects the way I talk. My jaw doesn't move the way it should. My dentist suggested I I had a nerve issue on the side of my jaw.
All I can say is it's pretty annoying. I hate dealing with this every day.
UM, Green Bay and Chicago teams all have one thing in common: They all suck

Dentist told me there's really nothing they can do. I've had to deal with it for like 5 years now....at least that's when I first noticed it. I notice it most when I chew food or gum.
). Her orthodontist fitted her with a dental "bite". She had to wear it 24/7 for almost a year, then she slowly "weaned" herself off of it. That was about twenty five years ago. She's been fine since. He said it was caused by her grinding her teeth.

Anyone have TMJ?
