I don't use MLB.tv through an Xbox, but through a computer you can watch archived games. I would assume it should be the same.
The only thing to remember is that you need MLB.TV Premium to use your Xbox, which costs more but also gives you access to every Tigers broadcast (unless blacked out) and a free At Bat 12 app allowing you to watch or listen to games on your smart phone.

No, but I did use HBO GO last night on the Xbox 360 for the first time. Comcast wasn't allowing it for the first week, but worked it out with HBO.
The HD quality was outstanding.
The only thing to be careful with I suppose is making sure you don't go over your broadband data limit with your internet provider. I can imagine that regularly watching HD games every week might start to really eat up the bandwidth.

If you have MLB.TV premium, you can choose the home or away television broadcast. There are only two situations where you are blacked out. First, when the Tigers play in your market, although you can just watch the opposing broadcast on television. Second, when the Tigers play on a national broadcast (ESPN, TBS, Fox). When it is Fox, it sucks because they have rights to two to four simultaneous games and they show the most regional broadcast. In that case, you may not be able to watch the game, although you can watch the archived game or listen through the radio access you also get with the package.

Best $125 ever spent. With Premium you can watch any broadcast (home, away, or 'park sounds') of every MLB game, on demand. Archived games. You can skip innings or start from the 7th if you want. You can watch on a laptop, XBox, PS3, iPhone, Droid, etc. You can watch last years playoffs. I can't recommend it enough. It streams in HD too. The only thing I'll mention is they will auto-renew next year at the same price so watch out next February in case you don't want it again.

You can definitely go back.
I'll also point out to the OP (and others) some nice functions on Premium. When watching on a laptop you can watch any MLB game, and you can split screen, too. Last year on the last day of the season with Boston and Atlanta collapsing and other division races I had all the games on one screen and saw everything. It was awesome. Not a feature I use often but its there if you want it.
I love 'park sounds' the most. Its basically the TV broadcast without any announcers. You hear the crowd, vendors, and game sounds. Good for late games on West Coast or if you're watching on a laptop while your wife watches some dumbass tv show.

Anyone use MLB.tv on your Xbox 360?
