  • Thanks victory! I will look into them

  • Kellogg Center right on campus or downtown EL Marriott. Marriott nicer but pricier and in the middle of the bars/restaurants. Both are very easy walks to stadium and Kellogg about 1 mile walk to downtown but only 1/4 mile from Harrison Road House

I have a quick question for the spring game. I need a hotel to stay at from friday to saturday. Never been to EL so was wondering what hotels are in the area that are close to the stadium. Thanks for any help! Go Green

Rocky - Why is this the case? In the past special teams sufferred from a lack of depth. There seems to be plenty of depth now will all the redshirting.

I would also argue that MD and his assistants excel on special teams and fake plays which I love.

If it isn't bad coaching or lack of depth what is it? Lack of a kicker with a strong enough leg on kick offs?

The ND KR TD was the result of one ND special teamer throwing an ambush block (side-block, not a block in the back) that threw one MSU gunner into the other. I know both gunners were young, I believe one was Tai Jones. I want to say Drummond was the other. In any event, they were off in their lanes, too close together. At that point it was 9 on 10 and the 10 won.

In any event, it was inexpierence more than anything.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

If it was due to inexperience, then the problem should get fixed by the Boise State game.

When will we get the spring roster/forecasted 2 deeps? I am looking forward to that. Right before the Green and White game?

Depth chart will be fluid this spring. First one should be released this week, probably Tues. or Wed.

As far as '11 guys go, expect RJ Williamson at 2nd string S, Shilique Calhoun at 2nd string DE, and Donovan Clark in the mix at LG. Andre Sims will be very interesting at WR and Jack Allen will push at C.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

  • Rocky, can Arnett play in the spring game even if he hasn't had waiver approval yet? I assume so but I just wanted to be sure.

You bet! Dantonio is expecting for the waiver to be granted, but even if it isn't, he can still participate in all the practices. Same rules as for a FR who is going to RS.

Does Dantonio expect burbridge to qualify?

    Inconclusive right now.

  • If dropouts can play at SCum, Burbridge shouldn't have a problem.
