Awesome take on Wisconsin hoops in this article

This is a great article from Seth Davis. He had a few coaches/assistants from each league talk anonymously about the contenders in their conference. There's a fairly interesting take on MSU in there, but the best part by far was about the Badgers:
"Wisconsin: I don't really respect the way they play. Jordan Taylor likes to run and grab you, and then throw his head back and try to get a call. If you set a pick, they take a dive. They cheat the game. Everybody raves about this defensive juggernaut, but that's bull. They dribble the clock out and mug you out of the building. Part of the reason they lost to Cornell and Davidson is because when you get into the tournament, refs outside the Big Ten don't fall for that."

I would venture a guess that this mystery person's view pretty well represents how the whole conference feels about Wisky. The comment about MSU is definitely true though re: not having good enough outside shooting, teams might try some zone, etc.

Thanks for posting a great basketball article. Considering most are Freep articles that make me vomit, I loved it. I thought the truth was uncanny and I found it spot on.

Can't argue with a single thing said about MSU. Actually, it just made me proud of our staff.

This article seems accurate on all of the teams that are tournament bound from the major conferences. Wisconsin obviously has a hard time if they are getting called for fouls and the offense they run this year seems to be even worse than what they have done in the past.
There was also a comment on there how scUM could beat teams if they are hot, but could also lose to inferior opponents if they are not hitting from the outside.
Everything said about MSU seemed spot on.

Just to make it easier, Davis probably contacted coaches from the teams that wouldn't be critiqued.
