Or if you buy them green, they go straight from green to ass in that time frame
Also, due to the high potassium concentration, a total of 26 bananas consumed in one sitting will cause your heart to stop, so don't do that.

I've always wondered why bananas seen to fly under the fruit radar? Sure, they're not as sexy as citrus or strawberries, not as exotic as pineapples, kiwi, mangoes, among others. Bananas aren't really seasonal, like cherries and other berries, and they're always on supermarket shelves. But why no respect or love for bananas? Are they more of a blue collar no frills durable packaging fruit? You can't put a handful of blueberries in your pocket, but you can put a banana in your pocket. Ok, apples are also packaged well and probably more durable. But bananas taste better and pack more good stuff, they're healthier. And while apples make great pies, banana bread is just out of this world...! I'd personally like to see bananas get more love and respect, which is why I'm considering forming The Banana Recognition Society, the mission is to further recognition and respect for this underrated often overlooked fruit.

Bananas: Why don't they get respect as a fruit?
