Wow. So making the playoffs and losing is worse than missing the playoffs, firing your GM and OC, retaining your HC and starting a search for a new GM who will not fire the HC?

Just like Wisconsin is better than MSU because they have all those shiny B10 championships. Final Fours, playing for national championships, and winning NC's doesn't matter! Gotcha.

In the morning, I'll wake up a Lions fan with a loaded team, a great GM, a very good HC, OC, and DC, with hopes for more from the running game (remember Mikel Leshoure?), another year's experience for this year's rookies (Titus Young looks like the real deal), and whatever Martin Mayhew comes up with for draft picks and FA. You will wake up the fan of a team with no GM, an aging linebacking crew, a disgruntled FA RB, Tinkerbell OL, a new (rookie) OC who will have to get somebody help him with the passing game, a QB who needs help tying his shoes after getting hit so much, and an HC that makes Joey Harrington look like a glass-eating pessimist.

What are you talking about? The Bears have a lot to look forward to! Besides a guy named Cutler, and a guy named Forte, the Bears do not have a single player on offense that is more than average at his position. Without those two guys, Soldier Field is the safest place to be during tornado season because there is no chance of a touchdown. The Bears do have some damn good players on defense. Unfortunately, some of key players in the defensive unit are getting old enough to qualify for discounts on bus packages to Soaring Eagle in MP.

Bears don't loose their offense do to injury, they are in with a chance to win a game or two. But that's not how the nfl works sometimes. Injuries are part of the game.

I would expet the lions to improve from this. Playoff experience is key, even if it is one and done.
