Pretty much or he could be looking at 4th-5th round or worse.
Being called a sunshine blower is not insulting to me and I'm proud to be one.

40 times are useless for linemen, 10 yard splits matter far more. Unfortunately Will's 10 yard split wasn't great either. That said, his film shows that he's very slow off the line, he'll get drafted as a 5-technique DE in a 3-4 that relies more on power for run D and maybe eventually develop some pass rush moves. Also his height is attracted, tied with Ezekiel Ansah right now for most pass deflections of all DL at the combine.

Depends on how he looks during the drills he's already got the underachiever tag on him and the combine is his chance to show his athletic ability and show the potential we all know he has to NFL scouts and teams.

Gholston really hurt himself IMO. He was supposed to dazzle in the measurables becasue his technique and motor are questions. How far will he drop?

Change of direction is where Gholston is going to have to make up ground here. Needs a GM/coach that put more stock into film too.

Will is tied with Hunt for the "guy you would least want to fight" award at least. He he looks fast if only they didn't actually run the 40. Lol

Gholston will run his 40 today. That will change it up. He measured in at 6'6 281 and put up 23 reps of 225. I expect him to look really good in some of the measurables and that should help him. Probably a 2nd rounder.
Sims didn't really move up or down i think. Big hands, great vertical, decent 40 (4.75 official). Heard he didn't look great in drills though so a strong pro day should help more. Probably a round 3-4 guy right now.
Bell's 40 helped himself a lot and I heard he looked great on the field drills. Also put up 25 reps (top 5 in RBs). He's probably looking to be in the 2nd-3rd round category just because there's no elite backs this year.

So what you're saying, based on past MSU results in the draft, is that Gholston will go in the 5th, Bell in the 4th, and Sims will be UFA?
