after yanking around the coaching staff and begging them to let him commit against their terms and never actually visiting before decommitting he better take one when the U is paying for it.

I'd guess his Texas offer isn't commitable. He'll probably have to wait on Texas if he wants to go there. It seems like he pushed his commitment date back from end of September for his Homecoming.

That's what I was thinking. This kid really has no idea what he wants from a school or a football program, and it shows from the way he talks about his recruitment. He needs to stop the process for a little bit, stop listening to what coaches and recruiters are telling him and figure out what HE wants.
Wish the best for this kid. Hope he can get what he wants out of this college experience.

I like that the Spartan staff aren't giving up on this kid. Continue to lay the recruiting path in TX and if we get him then good. If we don't then move along. On the flip side I don't think he knows what he wants yet and he's allowed to be indecisive. Once he sees another double digit win season for the Spartans and a Rose Bowl win that may help him make his decision.

I'm so tired of hearing about this kid and his "schedule". He was supposed to take a visit months ago. Clearly he has no interest in making it up here. We've got to prioritize those that make us a priority. Random sidebar, I wonder if the B10's low level of play to kick off the season is being noticed by our recruits.
