Bon Jovi at the Palace on St. Pattys day was awesome.
OAR at Meadowbrook was great too, very good live band

Been to about a half dozen this year..must say there are only 2 worth mention:
1) Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes at Congress Theater in Chicago
2) Eminem and Jay-Z at Comerica
Kid CuDi and Drake were both sub-par at the Auditorium last year, and Passion Pit isn't really my cup of tea.

Zac Brown Band and DMB at Alpine Valley on the 4th of July weekend. What I remember of those two nights was great.

Agree on both counts. Everyone has been recomending Passion Pit to me for a while but I've never been able to get into them. Because tickets were cheap i checked them out on campus and their live show didn't change my mind.
I wish I would have gone to Em and JayZ at CoPa but I just couldn't justify the crazy ticket price at the time. I'll be kicking myself about that one for a while. I heard from friends it was epic.

Rodrigo y Gabriela on the outdoor stage at Stubbs BBQ, the highlight of a trip to Austin.
Great show, awesome venue, good company, and gorgeous weather made for the perfect night.

I was there. Not much on the zac brown band i must say. DMB was good, just some odd song placement I thought. Finally saw my first say goodbye. Took 45 shows to finally get it.

Another honorable mention for a small group called Cotton Jones at Mac's a month or so ago.
They are bluegrass on acid (more so live than on their albums). The funny smelling cigarette someone was passing around in the parking lot gets the assist on that one though. The chick singer is hot as hell too, that didn't hurt.

Eminem/Jay-Z was unbelievable. Jamey Johnson at the Fillmore & Eric Church at ROMT were both also outstanding.

The Black Keys at the Fillmore. Third time I've seen them and this was easily the best I've seen them in terms of energy and it was LOUD!

Electric Six (my favorite band) at the Black Cat in DC. Better than their Baltimore show the night before. The opening band, the constellations, was also amazing. We hung out with them a few times, and they were super nice. Great show!

Just listened to 6/13/10 Hershey Park tonight. I'm really digging this show! I was impressed by it when I first checked it out back in June, but hadn't re-listened to it since. The setlist is well-rounded, and while there is nothing as face melting as the 8/14 DWD->What's the Use, all the jams are still rock solid. I'm sold!
