Personally, I use Google for the majority of my personal contacts and Yahoo for commercial use (signing up online for stuff), but I'm planing to create a new account for commercial use as Yahoo has been jacked up recently. I found this poll and figured I'd see what the great RCMB thinks. Anyone use Mail.com or GMX? Seems like they are worthy alternatives to Yahoo.
Here is a 2012 readers poll results:

Mail.com and GMX Mail — 32.42%
Yahoo! Mail — 16.06%

Agree, Gmail is by far the best, but looking for #2 to use as my alternative to gmail for email sign-ups and the like.

Right, but can't be signed into both at once, right? And I don't want to combine emails together.
BTW, I guess GMX bought Mail.com and will be transitioning them at some point.

Yes, you can be logged into both at the same time. I have my personal and work emails both through Gmail and I have no trouble with it.

They also stay separate so you can easily switch back and forth

I must be missing something then. I sign out and then re-sign in. I'll look for easier step. Thanks!
edit: figured out how to "add account" and can now switch between two. the RCMB always come to the rescue!

You click your picture in the top right corner. Then you can sign into another account and easily switch between them (or in my case, have each open in a pinned tab).

Gmail.....Google Docs....and the maintaining of threads for a topic when you exchange emails on the same topic and each uses the reply function....nice and tidy.

GMail all day. Fast, great on mobile devices, reliable, huge storage of data allowed ...hell, GMail even lets you know when you don't attach a document that should have been attached.
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...

You know you can get it to forward to another email client? Thunderbird and Sparrow are two pretty good ones.

Certain (not all) incoming emails being delayed at least six hours. There are sometimes you need an email immediately and I get that assurance with Gmail.
Hacked email accounts (mine and friends) have all been Yahoo-related, not Gmail.
