The Shula's in Troy closed about 3 years ago. there is still an overpriced restaraunt in that Marriott, but its not a Shula's anymore.

Whenever I go to Bass Pro the place is packed, but it could just be people drinking. Beef Briscuit Nachos do sound good though.

I concur that Harry Carey's makes one hell of a steak, I'd put it up against damn near any steakhouse (and I say that only because I don't want some foodie doucher telling me how much longer some other place dry ages their beef).

As for the others, I haven't been to any of them besides Hard Rock, which served me a horrible burger (also way over priced).

In general, I think these are a step below regular chain restaurants, and probably priced higher.

I've been to one Margaritaville Cafe, and 2 Cheeseburger in Paradise locations. Not bad, Nothing to jump up and down about, but ok.

Billy Sims BBQ sucks. It's pre-made, vacuum sealed, and then warmed/microwaved when you order it. No better than Dickey's.

Not a huge celeb, but ex-Dolphin Bob Brudzinski has a chain of 7-8 sports bars in S FL, Bru's Room. Not too bad. Pretty good wings. I've been to 4 of them, and they were all packed.

It's called 200 West. Ruth's Chris is just down the street.

Yeah - I've eaten at the original Toby Keith's in OKC a few times and the wait staff definitely didn't wear anything of the sort. My old Okie redneck genes did appreciate sitting on the benches fabricated from old pickup tailgates.

Re quality - TKs OKC isn't even the best celebrity restaurant in Bricktown. Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse is far better.

Anyplace that knows what I mean when I tell 'em that Tim sent me, is celebrity enough for me.

So is there actually another Spartan fan in OKC? Yes, Mickey Mantle's is better by far. I don't go there very often though. I'm usually up at Iguana on 9th street.
