Wow. Offensive staff is pretty much entirely gone except for a first year guy.

I'm very disappointed for them.

There was talk that Hammock was being looked at for the RB job when Enos left. The name should sound familiar as he's the older brother of TyQuan.

I approximate that Purdue has a 40% chance of playing in Indy.

Gee, this scenario that has played out on the Wisky coaching staff might give an outsider the impression that someone other than ole Bret was the key cog to much of their success. And now that that cog is no longer pinned down, the machine seems to strip down rather easily and may or may not function correctly going forward.

I remember a kid in my 5th grade class that used to pick his nose and stack boogers on his desk. He said he liked the crunch when they were dried out.

Pitt's Chryst hires defensive coordinator

New Pitt coach Paul Chryst has filled another key position on his staff - defensive coordinator.

Chryst will bring Wisconsin linebackers coach Dave Huxtable along with him to Pitt and Huxtable will serve as his defensive coordinator according to a source close to the situation.

That brings the total number of confirmed assistants to three as Chryst had previously announced that he was bring Wisconsin run game coordinator Bob Bostad along as his offensive coordinator and former Mt. Lebanon coach Chris Haering will serve as his linebackers coach.

And according to the Wisconsin State Journal, Chryst, who was the offensive coordinator at Wisconsin before being hired by Pitt two weeks ago, could be bringing a third assistant - tight ends coach Joe Rudolph - but only if Rudolph does not get promoted to offensive coordinator by Wisconsin coach Brett Bielema.

Rudolph would be a co-coordinator of some sort along with Bostad as the two have worked very closely with Chryst at Wisconsin over the past few years.

I can't believe nobody has made a comment about Rudolph picking a different coach to work for.

the oregon paper said bielema blew the rose bowl vs tcu in the same fashion with the clock management problem and couldn't figure out how he did it again with the ducks and with osu and with msu....

Do you think he's going to get on a recruiting roll up at Pitt?

I don't recall MSU losing a single coach to Enos at CMU nor to Treadwell at Miami. Am I wrong?
