Notice they put up the last year's plaque as "Big Ten Champions - 2010", even though it was a co-championship.....glad they did it.
* Wonder if the 1990 team gets the same recognition? (or the '78....?)
Also, it's nice to see MSU must have changed the tradition of the plaques to include teams that won a Big Ten Championship (even a "co"), but did not go to the Rose Bowl.
If memory serves me correctly, the only BT Championship plaques on the stadium were from teams that won the BT and won the Rose Bowl.....
Anyone have any insight or can correct my memory?

A championship is a championship. I didn't see OSU putting "co" before their B1G championships in 2005 and 2008 even though they lost to the team they shared it with (PSU). All I ever heard was "5 straight B1G championships." And I never saw UofM put "Co" in front of their shared national title with Nebraska in 1997.
As for the Rose Bowl plaque, I don't know if there is one for 2010 that says "Rose Bowl." I would be surprised since that would be a bit misleading.

JM,
chill bro'......didn't mean the "co" to be harsh. Just trying to point out the difference and the fact that if the 2010 plaque goes up, then shouldn't a 1990 and 1978?
BTW, thank you for posting this.

Funny when I first read the tweet, I thought he meant that the plaques were inside by the field then I realized that they were outside. It would have been kinda cool to relocate them by the tunnel so that the players would see them on their way in from Kellogg. Maybe put them in an area where the people can see them too.
If memory serves me correct weren't they originally where the press box entrance was located which is where the new addition is?

I believe there was one plaque on the NE corner (almost covered in ivy).
