Where do you see him playing? Is he an outside lb? How does he compare to other lb recruits in the midwest?
Hope the kids sees what MSU did for big brother Greg and follows him north. Not to mention his new sister in law is also a Spartan!

This kid is very good. saw him play a couple games last year, very good competition (st x, etc). Love to see him in green and white

CBD knows better than I do, but everything I've heard says he's not related to Greg. Also, if it was true I'm quite sure that they would have included that fact in the article.

Shane Jones is not related to Greg Jones.
Note : His Moeller teammate, RB Keith Watkins, is also visiting UK this weekend and probably another Moeller teammate OT Alex Gall as well.

If not related there is an uncanny resemblance. In the still shots he's a dead ringer for Greg

They have been hitting southwest Ohio pretty hard the past year. Don't forget that Cincinnati is closer to Lexington than it is to Columbus. They are really pushing the idea of playing in the SEC but still being close to home.

I went to Moeller and I go to OSU and I hate that guy.. he's had all the talent in the world but doesn't have the balls to stand up to players parents or to really have disciplined team.. should have a state title or 2 by now with the talent he's had come through. But he's sent Marcus Rush and Monty Madaris your way so I wouldn't say he has anything against MSU. Everything I've heard about Shane Jones is that he always goes 100% and loves to hit.. maybe a bit too much in practice.. but he is just a pure hitter and is solid in coverage.. more-so than his non-relative Greg Jones.. not quite as thick and strong as Greg was though at this stage.
