Bigger loss for 1 seed: Henson/Strickland, Dawson, or Melo.

I say Melo at Syracuse. UNC is deep and Henson will still probably play hurt. Dawson is a great athlete, but we have a very well-rounded team this year. Melo being out really hurts Syracuse's physical presence down low.

Dawson's loss isn't that big of a deal when you think about the other players mentioned.
Unc lost two possibly and melo gone. For me it's not close.

At this point counting roe is kinda dumb don't you think? They were number 5 when Dawson went down. Roe isn't in the equation.

Totally agree but you can't count him as a loss at this point. The team has been nails without him.
He hasn't been there all year. Acting lie he was is grasping at straws.

Counting Roe is fucking stupid. This team has won or lost every game this season, and earned a Big Ten title, Big Ten Tournament Championship, and been selected as a 1 seed without Roe having played a single minute. He was a great Spartan, but he was not part of this team.

Is Henson going to be totally fit? Melo means way more to cuse than Dawson did for us.
Fair point on Strickland.
We already proved we can play with the big boys without Dawson. Basically I still think we are one of a few teams that can win it all and I a not going to pull the " if we had so and so" card if we don't.

I guess Izzo is 'fucking stupid' for mentioning Roe's name when asked how much of a loss Dawson would be. This was on 'the herd' today...
and just a FYI, I added Roe's name because the OP included Strickland's name...who's been out for a good part of the season yet UNC still won a conference title and earned a # 1 seed.
