I'd just like to my own horn and say that I did predict, in a "5 bold predictions" type thing about the season, that Mrazek would get his first NHL win this year. I was hoping it wouldn't NEED to happen, but for him to do it, and in his first NHL game no less, is awesome. He looks legit.

Franzen could get suspended. That was inexcusible, even after being hit from behind.

Kindl is going to end up being traded (hopefully). He's not consistent enough. Lashoff (#23) is looking good. Reminds me a lot of another recent #23 Red Wings defenseman. Smith was an everyday defenseman until the injury. I'd like to see them go younger but I'm not sure Kindl is one of the guys.

Mrazek looks legit. He's risen through the ranks very quickly - probably more quickly than anyone in the organization expected or, dare I say, wanted. No shutout today, but if he keeps playing like that, he'll get a few. I love his game. Very exciting.

Honestly, I'll say he gets at least 2. Very, very blatant. No tolerance for that kind of crap. Not saying he was wrong in being pissed about the hit, he just needs to do a better job of controlling his emotions and deal with the hit in a different manner.

Tatar, Lashoff and Mrazak all need more time up. Cleary just isn't doing it. Might just be too old at this point.
