Board improvements that are on the way

    The board needs an icon associated with the bookmark. My bookmark doesn't have any text, just a long series of icons, and the white page default image is annoying.

    Right click on your bookmark's series of icons, open properties, and change the name. That white page will have to be taken care of by Trevor.

  • Has anyone else noticed the new RCMB has been a kinder place since the move?

    No beatdowns over posting something posted earlier, every thread has some solid discussion for the most part. The search Nazi's are dead right now, and it needs to remain that way.

    The old board, even if you searched for a topic you wanted to post and didn't find it, you had to preface your post with I searched and didn't see a thread. If you were wrong, the first 10 posts to your thread bitch slapped you for posting something already out there.

    It's kinda nice to read threads where everyone isn't attacking one another that contain relevant opinions, regardless of how accurate or misguided they are.

    We are all Spartans, we can get along without the hatred and vitriol displayed on the old board.

  • Trevor....the multiple and very stupid posts by a Terp fan, majopa, are disgusting and this idiot should be reported to 247 staff somehow so they can permanently ban him/her. If this kind of thing is allowed to continue I will NOT be reupping when my subscription expires.

  • The funny thing is I had a thread deleted yesterday where I mentioned that Ash-Liz got laid off - but I didn't even use her name I said "Caleb's Mommy", but this Terp fan can carpet bomb the RCMB and those threads hang around for hours on end.

  • Why is it that when I'm reading a thread on the 2nd page and I click "back to topics" it takes me back to the 1st page of threads? That's really annoying.

  • Why when clicking on a link in a post, a new window doesn't open up for that link? That's how the old forum was (and most other forums as well). Can we have that feature back?

    All I know is that it works in Safari, Firefox, and Chrome in Windows and on the Mac for me.

    You'll see a green envelope to the left of the topic title if there are new posts in the topic since you last viewed it. Click the green envelope and it will take you to the spot you left off.

    That was at like 5 in the morning and only myself and the other insomniacs were up. Not much the mods can do about it when the guy is posting at that time

    The font in the post reply is smaller than Beilamas nutsack. Seriously, am I the only one who can barely read this shit. I will refuse to spellcheck words until it is made bigger................because I have to squint to see if they are spelled correctly

    I'm using Firefox. I've enlarged the font size by holding down the CRL and spinning the mouse wheel. It works pretty good.

    Did you add back in a title or description of this site to go along with the white page?
    I have "tRCMB 247" next to the white page and it's satisfactory until that page can be replaced.

    It's kind of like being in a natural disaster. People are helping each out trying to get control of how this new place works. As soon as that's done, the **** will hit the fan.

  • It seems that this new system has a difficult time changing pages. It would be nice if the extra cost extorrted to participate in this would be reciprocated with a product that works at least as well as the old version

  • absolutely need to make "ability to block all the obnoxious signatures" a top priority. The "my account" section is practically worthless w/ zero options under our control.

    You can already turn off signatures. There's a button at the top of the board to the right of "Follow board."

    now get the horrible navigation fixed! I also noticed if I click to read a thread on page 2 of threads, and then go back to see the others it takes you back to page one. that is obnoxious as hell and will discourage people from reading back further than the first page.

    Rep given...This may be my biggest issue with the new board....Say I am on page 7 or 8 of threads and do some reading, I push "back" and all of a sudden I am back on page 1 of the threads again. I have been opening threads in new tabs to get around this but it is annoying as hell.
