Word is that there is a Leo's Coney Island now in the Marriott complex downtown. I've only been to the Macomb Twp. location, but it's damn good.

Was just gonna chime in and say to go to lansing old town and hit golden harvest. Don't mind the wait because it's worth it.

Went to Beggars on Sunday last year after the um game. Hugely Disappointing. My former favorite, No longer. It sucked BIG TIME

Add me to the Golden Harvest, but I have also heard there is a good place in Haslett. Somebody will have to help me out with it though.

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and make sure to check the whiteboard hanging on the wall for daily specials.

I personally don't like many breakfast foods (sweet stuff like pancakes & french toast) or scrambled eggs/omelets so I usually go with their standard breakfast plate that comes with two eggs any style, meat, toast and potatoes (hashbrowns or homefries). Two eggs over-easy (so I can mix the yoke in with the potato), their spicy sausage patties and I pay the extra buck or whatever to upgrade to "deluxe" homefries (they add a bunch of veggies and cheeses).

The sausage and biscuits are the best I've ever had but even a half order is a ton of food and can be a what I call a "day-ender" (You'll want to take a nap if you finish the entire order).

They also have really good grits if that is your thing. I didn't think I liked grits until I tried Zane's grits. Get them topped with chorizo and cheddar for a meal in-and-of itself.
