I'm so tired. I could pass out on my desk. It stinks that I actually HAVE to do work today. At least there are no meetings. Starbucks is the ONLY thing getting me through right now.
I miss undergrad/grad school where I got at least 2 weeks off to do nothing. That was the best.

How bad is today? I'm sitting around watching "Pure Michigan" spoofs while waiting for the office Christmas luncheon. Then the day is over. To say nothing is getting done today would be a gross understatement.

Nothing happening here, stuck here until 6pm.
Watching the other companies in the building prepare their holiday parties, then their mass exodus at around 1.
Nothing worse then being the only person in the building, except maybe being the only car on whole damn street.

The only item on my list was to turn in my bowl picks and entry fee. Then late last night the IT people on my team set up a ridiculous call about shit I will never understand. This garbage better be finished by noon.

why is it that when you talk about a person who was sentenced to death after the deed was done as being "hanged" and not "hung" yet we refer to the feeling after a night of moderate to heavy drinking has being "hung over" wouldn't we say "I'm hanged over?"

Last day for staff was yesterday until January 5th......I am in for a couple of hours getting the Jan 3rd payroll done so I don't need to come back in and work.
A big cup of coffee, tunes on the system, peace and quiet.
Not a bad day at work......but I am not up for anything more.
We LOVE our Christmas holiday....we never got anything done when we were open for a few days between holidays anyway. BUST AZZ in January to get caught up!
