Burbridge is looking very good to qualify

IF he plays, he will flash the talent at times, have some highlight-reel plays, tease with his ability and have some long slumps in-between, and probably have a few big drops.

You just described the career of Charles Rogers.

For comparison, look at the year 4 star Arnett had at Tenn, against "mighty SEC" comp (with a crap QB and an O in turmoil- the "star" WR openly cussed out and ignored Baggett).

Tennessee is called WR U. Arnett is the 3rd most productive true frosh WR they've ever had. Once his dads health took a turn for the worse (in October), he told the UT coaches that he wanted out. They then basically took him off the field.

Arnett is the real deal. As much as I worry about young WRs dropping balls, I don't worry about Arnett doing it. Some guys just show up an produce, as Arnett already has. The guys that need 3 years to figure out how to catch are the ones that were marginal "gets" to begin with.

I don't really disaprove, but I just think its kind of Wierd you guys are so happy that he barely qualified. I was under the impression that he was already in. I definitely want him to step his game up and make it to the big times, but we gave quite a few relievers that made the cut and are capable of filling the void. I the more than willing to tutor him for free if someone can get me in touch.

They must have a really Wierd spelling curriculum at your school.

Brandon is going to protest the ACT score result and claim that someone else took the exam for Burbridge. You just know that the new test score will be challenged.

David Brandon is a Fuck Face.

yes, he's a FF......NO, nothing else you wrote will come true. Have a drink, bang some beaver and calm the eff down: things are looking good.

I agree: he IS a very talented kid. But you guys have to remember, his dad is still very ill and he's adjusting to a new school, team, etc.....he has a helluva lot on his plate. (although it was a huge weight off his shoulders when the douchey ncaa got off their ass and finally cleared him to play this year)

Bottom line; he's going to need some time to acclimate and get in sync with Maxwell. This offense will be a work in progress at first. We should be able to run it enough, hit Sims at TE down the middle and THAT will open it up enough until Lippett, Arnett and Mumphrey find their groove with Maxwell: can't wait!

    h.

That is my point: star player with bug ranking out of HS had a heck of a year...for a frosh. Frosh WRs rarely put up huge numbers every game, you have to go back to Bama's kid from a few years ago to see one who did.

Ok, call me insane, but that Clemson kid, of what I saw of him last year appears to have the skill set to compete in the NFL.

What I'm saying is, I think he might be the first kid ever who could have come out of high school and maybe had a shot at making a team. I know, crazy.

No way. Rogers was the best receiver in CFB.
