Same here, except it was a really good friend of mine that de-friended me. It was after Michigan won the Sugar Bowl and I posted something harmless like "Awesome... as if UM wasn't arrogant enough already..." I was like... seriously?
Also, this is just another case of Michigan fans or students making up some bullshit story after MSU beats them to try and drum up sympathy and make MSU somehow look bad. Happens, without fail, every time. It reminds me of that mgoblog thread about their "interactions with Spartys" and all of the obviously fabricated little tales they would tell about gruesome, horrible things we have done to them over the years.
Worst. Fanbase. EVAR.
