Mount Pleasant, Mich. — Former Detroit News Blue Chip recruit Austin White is one of five players suspended by Central Michigan's football program for unspecified violations of team rules.
The others are Deon Butler, Kevin King, Danel Harris and Joe Sawicki.
White, a sophomore running back from Livonia Stevenson, was the No. 10 player on The Detroit News' Blue Chip recruiting list in 2010. He signed with Michigan but left the program during fall camp that year. He transferred to Central Michigan and sat out the 2011 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
The university isn't saying what violations the players committed, only that it's "cooperating fully with local authorities" in the case and referring questions to them.

Mitchell and Myles are both nice kids. Myles got into some trouble up here as everyone knows, but he was driven to be successful and has worked hard at La. Tech. It's nice to see that paying off for him down there and that he has put his mistakes behind him. Give him another offseason of work and he will kill it down there this year. Would not be shocked to see him in the Top 15-20 in the country in receiving. Mark it down.
Austin, however, is going to wind up behind bars someday. Kid can absolutely not stay out of trouble. Frankly, I would have only taken his transfer if he agreed to a zero tolerance policy at CMU if I were Enos.

it's a tad disappointing when you think of what Myles could have done for the team this year, but like you said, he's absolutely tearing it up down there. People talked about how good Austin was coming out of high school, but i always thought that Myles was the best of the bunch. He ran the 110M in track and won a conference race after falling down out of the blocks on purpose. People like to rag on Mitchell here, but you have to remember that he never played defense before coming to State.
