"Home" for the weekend. I'm sitting on the steps of Farrall Hall right now after walking around for an hour. . With the exception of a wedding party at Spartan Stadium I have seen maybe 4 people.
First time back to EL since I moved away 9 months ago after living here for 14 years.
I feel like a ghost.

Coming from a Lansinginite, summer is the best season in EL, Due to the fact the city is dead and campus is ours.

It used to be better when you could drink on campus...I used to set up shop at night near Sparty at the Kobbs field entrance with a lawn chair and a few 40s.

I stayed in E.L. one summer, I would ride across campus to chill at a friends place in cherry lane. Always felt eerie riding my bike drunk down Shaw Lane around 4am.

campus during summer is awesome. last summer there was a bunch of us that would boom and roam around campus at night. baker wood lot is also a fun place to go

QFT. I do admit to a tiny bit of melancholy as students filter back, because it means summer is over. Then I remember football is at hand and my mood immediately brightens.
