Can the power of the RCMB get me a job?

I've decided to sacrifice my anonymity to potentially win a poll that might lead to a job.
Challenge Detroit is a quasi-fellowship where 30 people are chosen to live and work in Detroit. I've made the semi-finals and now there is a public voting round. It's a great opportunity in a city I want to spend the rest of my career, so any support would be greatly appreciated.

BA in IR and Econ from MSU in 2008
AmeriCorps VISTA
Thesis away from Master of Urban Planning from WSU
Worked at Detroit DOT on projects such as the Woodward Light Rail

I'll just say that Detroit doesn't need 'saving' cause it's not dying. A lack of leadership and tax base doesn't mean there isn't a great amount of life to this city... and I don't mean just downtown/midtown.
