Actually in this case, Mr. Cousins pulled a gun on the dealer and just took the car.

Ok this one made me laugh. Well done.

Posting member of tRCMB since 1997. It is ALWAYS a great day to be a Spartan!!!!

  • The draft picks are all slotted into a set amount thanks to the new CBA rules. What are RGIII and the small handful of others even holding out on. It's not like they can get more money.

I was thinking the same thing.

I believe the relative contract is set, but the amount of guaranteed money is not.

Amount of guaranteed money, maybe things like incentives, how it's paid out over the 4 years...etc. The flat amount of money is hardly the most important part when it comes to NFL contracts.

  • Wow, what a great interview. Just makes me proud to be a fellow Spartan with KC. Wish we could get him for 4 more years!! On the other hand, no reason Maxwell cannot fill KC's shoes adequately having spent so much time with him.spartan2

He wasn't really holding out, contract was pretty much set. They were just working on the 'escape clause' language and other stuff. He signed this morning, btw.

    Kirk is so ridiculously impressive.

He will absolutely kill it in the booth someday if he so chooses. He could be a lot like Bilas is in hoops.

If I were a gay... EXTRA HOMO.

But Bilas has a ceiling at ESPN because he's not as wacky as Dickie V. Cousins would have the same problem; there's no way he could get to the top like Berman and Corso unless he comes up with his own shtick. I'd suggest, every time someone scores a touchdown, saying, "Wacka foo foo diddly-doo ding dong!" He'd immediately get the Sunday NFL Countdown gig.

Have 2 more well-spoken athletes come out of MSU than Captain Kirk and DayDay?

Every time i read or hear an interview with those guys they just ooze leadership and professionalism.

I agree...but can't help but point out that they would probably say,

"Have 2 athletes come out of MSU that are more well-spoken than Captain Kirk and DayDay Green?"nerd

He's one of the stars of College GameDay, and I think that's the most prominent show in college football - so yeah, he's at the top in his field. I'll admit it seems a bit too glorious for an old man who's famous for making weird sounds and wearing mascot heads, but it's true.
